Scott McCarley
Co-Founder
Scott McCarley brings over 15 years of connected street lighting and smart city systems domain experience. Most recently he was Director of Product Management for Connected Outdoor Solutions at Genlyte Solutions, a Signify company (formerly Philips Lighting). Before that, he was Director of Marketing for Public Systems & Services at Signify. Throughout his tenure at Signify, he worked firsthand with cities and utilities to help them leverage their lighting infrastructure, IoT software, sensors, and connectivity to reduce operational costs, increase safety and citizen well-being, and support sustainability and digital initiatives.
Prior to Signify, Scott was Sr. Director of Smart City Solution Management at PTC ThingWorx, a leading IoT software platform, and has over 25 years of software experience across sales, marketing, strategy and product management. Scott holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Biology: Cell & Molecular Biology/Biochemistry from Colby College.

Peter Kassakian
Co-Founder
Peter Kassakian is a computer scientist and software entrepreneur with a distinguished career at the frontier of machine learning, statistical modeling, and large-scale analytics. His expertise spans operations research, signal processing, mathematical programming, artificial intelligence, data mining, and distributed systems, and he holds multiple patents for his work.
Peter was a co-founder of CrossInstall, a software company acquired by Twitter, where the team helped app developers drive user acquisition for mobile apps. At Twitter, Peter was a Senior Staff ML Engineer driving strategy and architecture for Machine Learning across the organization. He earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds Bachelor and Master's degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT.
